Do you guys really hate NASCAR?Yes. It’s painfully boring. Even the commentary is painful. Really, who wants to listen to Daryl Waltrip ramble on and on about cars turning left all day.
I suppose you like Formula 1?Yes. We enjoy the motorsport that is Formula One. However, we have a few issues with the FIA and Bernie Eccelstone.
We find F1 to be considerably more intellectual than NASCAR. The performance aspect alone is based on bleeding edge technologies that you will never find in NASCAR. NASCAR can’t even figure out how to make an engine that can run on unleaded gasoline.
Isn't IRL, CART and Formula 1 all the same?Not true at all. The only thing that Formula One has in common with IRL or CART is the fact that the wheels are not contained in fenders. OK, there are a few other similarities, but the discrepancies are greater. For instance, in Formula One, the cars are constrained by a set of rules outlining their design limitations, not limited to a set number of chassis manufactures from which they may choose.
